Steve Christian - Rae & Christian
Formed in Manchester, England, by producer-DJ duo Mark Rae and Steve Christian, spearheading the UK's late-1990s soul, funk, and downtempo scene. The masterminds behind the influential Grand Central Records label, they crafted a lush, instrumentation-heavy sound by pairing live guitars, double bass, Rhodes pianos, and woodwinds with crisp hip-hop production.
Their 1998 debut album, Northern Sulphuric Soul, is widely considered a trip-hop masterpiece and cemented their legendary status through high-profile collaborations such as "Get a Life" with Bobby Womack. Their third studio album, Mercury Rising is a perfectly formed favourite which pairs their signature production with 1970s British folk-soul influences with an eclectic selection of guest vocalists, including Jazzy Jeff and Ed Harcourt.

Earthling
Hailing from Bristol in the1990s electronic revolution, Earthling is an avant-garde trip-hop group composed of rapper Mau and producer Tim Saul. Earthling is know by their heavy jazz basslines, eerie turntablism, and surrealist spoken word.
Their debut album, Radar is celebrated for underground masterpieces like "1st Transmission" and the emotionally gripping "Planet of the Apes". The record captured a massive cult legacy that eventually earned it a major 30th-anniversary remastered re-release.

Aerial Salad
What’s not to love about a band who materialised from the DIY punk circuits of Manchester. An explosive three-piece rock outfit known for their raw, and fiercely authentic attitude, which combines the aggressive energy of 1990s punk with the rhythmic, groovy swagger of the classic "Madchester" movement, dealing sharply with working-class realities.
They have a strong underground reputation after the release of their album Dirt Mall, and R.O.I. Their status as an essential, high-energy live act has since been solidified through prominent UK headline tours and standout festival slots like 2000 Trees.

Telekura
Telekura is a fast-rising alternative pop and electronic quartet that derives its name from a vintage Japanese telephone-dating service. They set themselves apart in the indie scene with intoxicating, neon-drenched wall of sound that leans heavily on maximalist analogue synths, theremins, and dream-pop vocal harmonies.
The band has built serious critical buzz and streaming playlist momentum, largely driven by their mesmerizing, high-concept live shows. This reputation was highlighted by their performance at Dublin's historic Bello Bar alongside international acts like Tei Shi, showcasing their distinct ability to blend danceable electronic rhythms with hazy 90s nostalgia.
